Yesterday, during a visit with friends, they asked me to establish a blog. "A blog?" I said. "What in the world for? I know nothing about blogging." I think they are looking ahead, seeing the value of a public diary. You see, I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer ... to bone, now to liver. Perhaps they want some insight into this journey that all of us will travel.
My heart so aches for you and for you family. It's nice (if you can say that) to know when our loved one is passing because we have time to say the things we want to say and do the things we put off doing...but the other hand we know the end is near and it's so incredibly hard. Each day is harder than the day before. You Susan are an amazing Christian woman to whom SO many love and adore....how can we not shed tears and be sad. We are sad because you will leave us before we are ready for you to leave us. My prayer is that the Lord will just come on and take us all home...so we can all be together forever. My prayer also is to give you comfort and peace as you see these loved ones hurting. Wrap your arms around yourself and know that God and me are hugging you right now. love you
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening, Susan?
ReplyDeleteOne of the Psalms tells of how God collects our tears in his bottle. How precious of Him to do that, to hold so tenderly to Himself our griefs, sorrows, sadnesses, our not knowing what to say or how to say it. Know that He is doing that for you, for them, for us. Love you!
